One year of Obama's stimulus job loss

President Obama promised that his stimulus bill would "create or save" many jobs. Did he make it perfectly clear that he would create dependency on the government? That he would create government jobs while allowing the private sector to languish?

When the White House first announced its great job gains the data were found to contain egregious errors - jobs that had not yet started; fictional congressional districts; double counting.

After one year here is the snapshot. Lots of new government jobs - 2 per cent more - but far fewer private sector jobs - minus 7 per cent. And the money involved.
