V-J day ended WW II

August 14, 1945: V-J Day: Japan announced their surrender.

9/2/45: The surrender was signed on US battleship Missouri in Tokyo Harbor. On 9/2/95 we witnessed the 50th anniversary of this event sitting shoreside of the Mighty Mo in Bremerton, Washington.
