World Bank hiding fraud
The new President of the World Bank Robert Zoellick has learned his job quickly - to cover up fraud. The Bank's internal investigation arm, headed by Suzanne Rich Folsom, investigated $559 million spend on work improving and repairing health-care facilities in India. They found that in one project of $54 million 9 out of 10 dollars spent involved questionable procurement practices.
9 of 10 dollars misused.
Does Zoellick put Folsom's report in the spotlight? No. He says the government of India is cooperating. He hides her and her report.
Fraud in World Bank projects? Protected, as usual.
